Meet the Clearwater Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Clearwater

We’re a small, local crew. Not a call center, not a rotating cast of subcontractors. When you book a repair or installation in Clearwater, the person who shows up works for Servo Garage Doors Clearwater, lives in Pinellas County, and answers to Marcus Deller, the owner. Every technician on this team has been background-checked, wears a uniform, and works under one written standard. That standard has been in place since 2015, and it’s why 18,000+ garage doors have been made right across the Tampa Bay area without a single invoice surprise.

Our People

Marcus Deller, Owner

Marcus founded Servo Garage Doors Clearwater in 2015, and he still runs jobs himself most weeks. He holds a state contractor’s license, carries the company insurance, and signs off on every written scope before it reaches a customer. Ask him about torsion springs and he’ll tell you the wire diameter matters more than the brand name. He wrote Clause 1 of The Haven Standard, the one that requires a flat written price before any work starts, because he spent his early years in the trade watching homeowners get quoted one number and invoiced another. The customer sees the failed part before anyone quotes a replacement on his watch. He lives in Clearwater year-round and answers emergency calls personally when the rotation lands on him.

Dave R., Lead Technician

Dave has been turning wrenches on garage doors for over 14 years, the last 7 of them with Servo Garage Doors Clearwater. He’s the one we send when a cable has snapped, a door has come off its track, or a motor has died and the homeowner needs to know whether it’s the logic board or the capacitor. Dave is factory-certified on LiftMaster and Genie openers, and he carries a full parts inventory in his truck: trolley carriages, limit switches, photo eyes, hinges, rollers. Off the clock, he rebuilds old motorcycles in a garage in Largo. He does not rush a spring replacement, and he will tell you why a ten-dollar nylon roller was doing the work a seventy-dollar steel one should have been doing.

Anthony M., Senior Installer

Anthony leads our new-door and full-system installs across Clearwater, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, and the beach communities. He’s been with Servo Garage Doors Clearwater since 2018, after a stretch doing commercial door work in Tampa. When you order a Clopay or Amarr door through us, Anthony measures the opening, checks the framing and the headroom, and orders the exact track radius and panel profile for the space. He’s the reason our installs rarely need a callback: he levels the sections, sets the tension to spec, and photographs the finished job as part of the documented record you receive. Anthony grew up in Pinellas Park and swears by a fishing spot under the Courtney Campbell, which he will absolutely talk about if you ask.

Jess T., Service Coordinator

Jess is the voice on the phone when you call Servo Garage Doors Clearwater, day or night. She has been dispatching our technicians since 2020, and before that, she worked emergency restoration scheduling in St. Petersburg, so a broken spring at 2 a.m. doesn’t faze her. Jess knows the service area block by block: she can tell you whether the truck coming from our Clearwater shop will hit 45 minutes or an hour to your door in Palm Harbor, based on traffic and the time of day. She builds the dispatch schedule, sends the on-the-way text with the named technician, and makes sure every customer gets their photo record and written warranty before the file closes. Jess lives in Clearwater with two rescue dogs and a garage door opener that, she’ll admit, Dave finally replaced last year.

Chris B., Apprentice Technician

Chris joined us in 2023 after finishing a two-year trades program at Pinellas Technical College. He rides with Dave and Anthony, learning the torque requirements on replacement springs, the wiring on smart openers, and the habit of photographing everything before and after. In Clearwater’s salt air, he’s also learning what corrosion looks like on hardware that’s only been up for a few years, and why stainless hinges matter within a mile of the Gulf. Chris grew up in Tarpon Springs and works Greek Easter into nearly every conversation. He’s not the lead on a job yet, but he’s on-site with a senior tech, and he cleans up like he owns the place. Because one day, he might.

One Standard, Every Job

One Standard, Every Job

Every one of these people works under The Haven Standard, and that’s not a slogan. Clause 1 means the written price and written scope happen before any work begins, on every job, no exceptions. Clause 4 means the technician photographs the failed part before quoting a replacement, so you see exactly what we found. It’s the same reason you get a documented photo record when we leave, not a verbal summary. The 365-Day Done Right Promise applies to everything this team touches: if a repair isn’t right, we make it right. That’s the entire point of running a local crew under a written standard. You know who’s coming, you know the price before they start, and you know what was done when they leave. Call (727) 485-0719 and you’ll get Jess, or Marcus on the late shift, and a named technician on the way with an ETA text, not a callback window.
